Purpose of the Study
The Educating All Learners Alliance is funding a project, conducted by the National Center of Learning Disabilities, to identify promising practices focused on improving outcomes for students with disabilities transitioning from high school to postsecondary education or employment. To better understand transition experiences among young adults, parents, high school teacher/administrator personnel, and college personnel, the National Center for Learning Disabilities requests your participation in a survey. The purpose of the survey is to identify strengths and possible gaps in services or knowledge during the transition. There may be an opportunity to participate in a follow-up listening session to allow you to provide more information about your experiences (only a small percentage of respondents will be randomly selected to participate). Information collected from these surveys and listening sessions will help professionals develop resources and continue programming that responds to priorities identified by policy leaders in the field by creating content targeting individuals who make important decisions about transition services.

Risks and Benefits
There are no identified risks related to participation in this survey or follow-up listening sessions. A possible inconvenience is the time it takes to complete the survey (approx. 5 min) or participation in the follow-up listening sessions (approx. 60 min). A benefit to participation is sharing your personal transition experiences to help inform the development of best practices for the future.

Compensation for Participation
There is no compensation for participation in the online survey (approx. 5 min). At the end of the online survey, you will have the option to select whether you agree to be contacted for a follow-up virtual listening session (approx. 60 min). Of those who agree to be contacted, only a small percentage of respondents will be randomly selected for the virtual listening sessions. Those who complete the virtual listening session will be compensated with a $100 Amazon gift card, delivered electronically.

Confidentiality
All data collected will be used solely for the study and will not be shared with third-party individuals or firms. All reasonable efforts will be made to keep your personal identity and information confidential, but such confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. All data is stored in a secure folder with encrypted and password-protected access. All identifying information will be removed and replaced with ID numbers, and no names or other personal relationships will appear in reports.
